- Blade Type: Wakizashi.
- Release Type: Elemental: Water/Ice.

- Inner World: A cave, seeming very ugly, primitive and dangerous from the inside, but once you enter it, it is as if you entered a palace and it is often difficult to understand how it ever looked like a cave due to the vast amount of space on the inside.
- Materialisation: A traditional wizard, dressed flamboyantly. The wizard had a very excited personality and tends to run around as if a lit firecracker was up its ass 24/7.

- Shikai Command: Amaiyuumei, Mahoutsukai.
- Meaning: Drench them, Mahoutsukai.

- Shikai Abilities: Mahoutsukai quickly morphs into a large battle axe. This axe has the ability to absorb the life force of living things aside from spiritually advanced beings, and convert it into water(boiling hot or ice cold) that can be released with every swing and manipulated with Yamato's mind.

- Special Ability: When Mahoutsukai is thrown into the air, it releases a large amount of ice needles. These needles can be guided by Yamato but will melt away after a while. When they make contact with something, it will freeze a small patch of the area it hit, and it is possible for it to freeze and disable a limb if enough needles hit the limb and freeze different patches of the muscle. This ability is called, Subzero Shower or Reido no Uchuu.

- Bankai: Hokubou Takubaki: North Pole, House of Mirrors
- Bankai Abilities: Yamato will slam axe into the ground, causing a giant earthquake. With this, his axe will return to its unreleased state, with the ability to freeze anything it slices.

Another effects is that the entire landscape will freeze, from the axe's strike and the incredible reiatsu being released. This freezing will turn the area into a sort of house of mirrors that Yamato uses to create various images of his body, so he can strike when he is confusing the target(s) into dizziness.
